Waiting Lists Open

Applications now available for the Senior (62+) and Disabled Affordable and Federal Public Housing Waiting Lists.  Applications accepted beginning November 27th, 2023.  Applications for the Federal Public Family Housing Waiting Lists currently being accepted. Download an application here.

How to Apply



The Medford Housing Authority administers both state and federally aided affordable housing programs for low-income family, elderly and disabled households.

Applicants may apply to open waitlists by paper application or if applicable through the waiting list portal.

CHAMP- State Elderly/Disabled Waitlist (Open)

Federal Family Waitlist 2, 3 & 4 bedrooms Only

Federal Elderly/Disabled Waitlist (Open)

Check the status of your application:  If you would like to check the status of your application please submit the Application Update/Status Form  to the main office or by email to ccardello@medfordhousing.org.

To obtain a pre-application, you may:
1) download a pre-application form from the pages above;
2) email us at applications@medfordhousing.org and request a copy be emailed;
3) mail a written request that a Pre-Application be mailed to you; or
4) visit our administrative offices at 121 Riverside Avenue in Medford, Massachusetts.

Pre-applications must be mailed to, or dropped off at, the Medford Housing Authority, 121 Riverside Avenue, Medford, MA, 02155. Only one Pre-Application per household will be accepted. Completed Pre-Applications must be returned to the MHA Administrative office or postmarked no earlier than Monday, November 27, 2023. No applications will be accepted before that time. Applicants with a disability have the right to request a reasonable accommodation in the application process.
