How to Apply

The Medford Housing Authority administers both state and federally aided affordable housing programs for low-income family, elderly and disabled households.

Applicants may apply to open waitlists by paper application or if applicable through the waiting list portal.

CHAMP- State Elderly/Disabled Waitlist (Open)

Federal Family Waitlist 2, 3 & 4 bedrooms Only (Open from 7/24/23 - 9/18/23)

Federal Elderly/Disabled Waitlist (Closed)

We are accepting applications for wheelchair accessible units only, please contact Christine Cardello if you meet this criteria and wish to apply at ccardello@medfordhousing.org or 781-396-7200 ext. 144.

Check the status of your application:  If you would like to check the status of your application please submit the Application Update/Status Form  to the main office or by email to ccardello@medfordhousing.org.


If you are unable to apply online you may call 781-396-7200 and request an application be mailed to you, or you may print a paper copy from this website.  Once your application is complete you may mail or drop it off at the Authority's main office located at 121 Riverside Ave, Medford, MA 02155.
