Fair Housing


 
As a Public Housing Agency located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in conjunction with the Federal Fair Housing Law, the Medford Housing Authority shall endeavor to promote safe and secure affordable housing in an environment free from discrimination. The MHA will continue to ensure equal opportunity and affirmatively further fair housing by providing a suitable living environment free from harassment and obtainable on the principles of fair housing regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, ancestry, genetic information, marital status, veteran or active military status, age, familial status (i.e., children), source of income (i.e., Section 8 voucher), domestic violence and language spoken.
